Guest Speaker 11/21
I am very glad that I was able to attend this class period because the speaker made the class very enjoyable and interactive. At first I was bored out f my mind but the speaker brought up activities which made the tension in the room stop. Everyone seemed tired which was a major factor in which there was not a lot of participation, but as soon as the activities were being done everyone seemed to show a spark of life. It was an overall well thought out presentation and very educational. Very pleased with the class period.
Student Life Activity
One of my most enjoyable moments at NDNU was the time I got to witness my first sporting event. I got to see my school face off and defeat SF State. It was especially pleasing to get to see my freshmen colleagues be all out on the pitch at the same time. I was able to see what our school would have to offer skill wise. It was a great experience due to the fact I am a true soccer fanatic and hope to play for the school in the future. Overall my favorite event to date.
Research Conference
The research conference I attended was not the most popular of required events which gave me a weird vibe. I was stuck with two options: attend and get a good grade or not attend and do some thing fun. In the end I chose to preserve my grade. I ended up contradicting my earlier belief and actually enjoyed the event. To me it was very educational and taught me enough to grasp certain concepts.
Student Performance
I was really glad to see my classmates present this day. I was intrigued by the fact many of them knew what they were doing. Some made their presentations very appealing to the public in many senses such as how they approached the audience with a very charismatic vibe. My close friend actually presented which was a major reason I attended so I could support her. Overall a very good experience!

Call to Action Day
So just yesterday I got the amazing pleasure to go on a boat with a bunch of classmates and some little 5th graders..... Now I know it sounds like I am here just about to start complaining but actually.... It was quite the pleasing experience. It is hard to put into words how much fun it actually was because not only was I able to hang out with some of my more close friends from college. I got to interact and get to know better a few of the kids from school. The 5th graders were very well informed with the information at hand and were well engaged with the topics. I was truly impressed by their knowledge and by the manners which they had. In total it was a great experience. I was able to help my community, create closer bonds with friends, and make new ones in the progress. Truly a memorable experience.
